(Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Takaaki Suzuki, hereinafter “studioking”) will hold the collaboration campaign with the popular comic “SHAMAN KING” from Monday, September 3, 2018.

What is “SHAMAN KING” ?

“SHAMAN KING” is a story that portrays the battles of Yoh Asakura, who is the main character and who possesses special powers (Shaman). The story was serialized in ʻWeekly Shonen Jumpʼ (published by SHUEISHA) from 1998 to 2004. It is a hugely popular manga authored by Mr. Takei Hiroyuki, published in a comic edition comprising a total of 32 volumes, and in a comprehensive, fully complete version of 27 volumes, and for which the total number of copies issued came to in excess of 26 million. A wider variety in the media mix was developed including TV animation versions in 2001 and other distribution channels and formats. With the work celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, a special site was opened on January 1, 2018 (Monday), and the announcement that from spring this year the serialization of brand-new chapters of the tale in the “Shonen Magazine Edge” (published by KODANSHA) would commence has attracted a huge amount of attention from fans and from the media.

Overview of “BOKU & DRAGONS”

“BOKU & DRAGONS” is an easy to play smartphone RPG game with a quick start up time on screen, and one can enjoy the game without much effort. The players are conquer the “slime”; you are upgraded when you conquer the slime, and if you get the dragon, that dragon becomes a member of yours. The largest attraction of the game is the 3D action and the summons battle held 3 times a day. In this real-time cooperation battle, you can have a battle between 2 guilds of a maximum of 20 members vs 20 members, where you can feel the excitement of a cooperation battle as you can chat to formulate strategies and collaborate on battle techniques.
