Our subsidiary pulse Inc. (hereinafter “pulse”) announced that it has reached a basic agreement (hereinafter “Business Alliance”) regarding a comprehensive business alliance with MissEVAN (Head Office: Beijing, China; 邵博 Chairman: hereinafter “MissEVAN”), a partner of “INSPIX WORLD”.
Through this business alliance, we plan to collaborate with MissEVAN’s largest Chinese voice-sharing website, “Nekomimi FM”, and a variety of IP-related activities utilizing “INSPIX WORLD”, which is currently being updates by pulse.

Business Alliance

1.Purpose of the Business Alliance

MissEVAN, the business partner, develops and operates Nekomimi FM, one of the largest voice-sharing websites in China. The DAU boasts 1 million people, 1.2 million total paid users, and 75% female ratio, and has a large number of very rare female paid users in China. MissEVAN knows preferences of Chinese users appropriately and possess a lot of know-how necessary for IP development such as marketing and content production.
At the same time, our group has set a mission of ” Creating new standards, over and over again.” Currently, we are focusing on xR(*1) related technologies and peripheral technologies that blur the boundaries between reality and virtual spaces in pulse business since 2016, and are working on the planning and development of the VR and entertainment business in order to achieve continuous earnings growth and increase corporate value through multifaceted business development. As part of our business, we are also focusing on in-house IP development and deploying various assets necessary for this business.
Against this backdrop, we believe that pulse’s support for MissEVAN for expansion into Japan and MissEVAN’s support for pulse’s expansion into China are excellent partnerships for both sides.

　“INSPIX WORLD” is a live-specific virtual space that has been updated to provide a more ideal customer experience from “INSPIX LIVE”, a virtual live app released by pulse on August 13, 2019.

Outline of “GAKUGEIDAI JUNES”

“GAKUGEIDAI JUNES” is a boy’s group with 5 members belonging to VOYZ ENTERTAINMENT, a subsidiary of pulse. The members are Yuto Aizawa, Yosuke Hoshino, Yuki Minami, Masaki Uchida, and Ren Nakagawa. Their activities began on September 2, 2019, based on the unprecedented concept of “moving forward in 2 and 3 dimensions.” The character design is handled by Ryo Fujiwara, an illustrator who handles numerous popular game characters and illustrations.
